Armando Figueiredo plays viola and has for several years been part of the Timpanas cast, this Casa de Fados in Alcântara.
But this musician is very requested. He is connected to many voices of the present time, some Fado figures, such as the recently deceased D. Vicente da Câmara.
Some of the voices that currently accompany: Nuno de Aguiar, António Pinto Basto, Débora Rodrigues, Isabelinha, Francisco Sobral, José da Câmara and others.
He has also been frequent presence in the fado matinees at the Fado house Adega Machado, with the show Fado Inside the Box, every day, 17h00 (live fado, snacks and wine).

FADO, WORLD HERITAGE OF HUMANITY, UNESCO, 6TH ANNIVERSARY
We marked the 6th anniversary of the elevation of Fado to Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity (UNESCO). This recognition brought Fado to prominence and honored its main agents contributing to its preservation and innovation, namely the fado houses, for its central, catalytic and decisive role.

THE GLORIES INVITED TO CELEBRATE THE 90 YEARS OF CAFÉ LUSO
Artists such as Maria Amélia Proença, Celeste Rodrigues, Julieta Estrela, Florinda Maria, Julieta Reis, Deolinda Maria, Cidália Moreira, António Rocha (acclaimed King of the Fado minor in 1959) were invited to make a decisive contribution to this Fado House), João Casanova, Fernanda Pinto, Odete Rosa, among many others of different generations.
